Time to Give Back: Free Seminar Seats for SLP Students/CFs

Time to Give Back: Free Seminar Seats for SLP Students/CFs

Since 2013, it has been my honor to present manual therapy continuing education to the Speech-Language Pathologist and Voice communities. I’ve come to know many of you through my Foundations in Myofascial Release Seminars (soon to be rebranded as Foundations in Manual Therapy Seminars) and workshops presented at the annual Voice Foundations Symposiums. To thank the SLP world, I am instituting a new program that will award one free seat at every Introductory seminar I teach to an SLP Graduate Student or Clinical Fellow.

This program is for interested Graduate Students and Clinical Fellows who plan to specialize in voice and swallowing and are interested in manual therapy’s role in those fields. Before applying, please email us to ensure your choice of location is available. Each applicant will:

  1. Write a short summary about their interest in manual therapy and how it would benefit their career.
  2. Each applicant will obtain a brief letter of recommendation from a supervisor or fellow SLP at their place of employment.

Entries will be reviewed, and one person will be chosen for every location of the Introductory Foundations in Manual Therapy: Voice and Swallowing Disorders Seminar. Applicants may submit their information via email through the website www.WaltFritz.com.

The winner of each seminar award is responsible for their travel expenses. Applications must be received at least one month before the starting date of any seminar. Check the website for seminar listens and locations: www.WaltFritz.com.

Here is some feedback given by a Give-Back attendee at the recent seminar:

“The Manual Therapy: Voice and Swallowing Disorders Seminar was extremely informative and applicable to treating those with voice and swallowing disorders. I am a speech-language pathology graduate student, and I was awarded the Give Back Scholarship, which gave me the opportunity to attend this workshop for free. Walt is a knowledgeable and patient-centered therapist, not to mention a compassionate and generous person. I learned a lot from this course and if you have the chance to attend, I highly recommend it!

All the best,
Alessandra Verdi”

I look forward to meeting you at an upcoming seminar!

Cheers,

Walt Fritz, PT
